Welcome to MARZCO. By accessing or using marzco.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of marzco.com, including all content, features, and services offered through the Site (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
- Registration is open to all. Members may optionally share Quantum Entanglement invite codes to invite others directly.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password and any MFA devices.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not share your account credentials with others.
- You must provide accurate information during registration. Display names may contain creative characters and emojis.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
The Service allows you to upload, share, and interact with content including images, videos, text, and audio ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you:
- Retain ownership of your content. You do not transfer copyright to us.
- Grant us a license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
- Represent that you have the right to share the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
- Acknowledge that other users may view, vote on, comment on, and interact with your content as part of the Service's features.
Prohibited Content: You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on intellectual property rights, contains malware, depicts minors inappropriately, constitutes harassment, or is otherwise harmful. See our Community Guidelines for details.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Impersonate other users or entities
- Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures
- Use the invite system to distribute codes publicly for mass registration without authorization
6. Voice Communication (Air Lock)
The Air Lock feature provides real-time voice communication and soundboard functionality. By using Air Lock, you agree to:
- Respect other users in voice channels
- Not record or redistribute voice communications without all participants' consent
- Not use the soundboard to harass or disrupt conversations
- Grant microphone access only when you intend to participate in voice chat
7. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Administrators may:
- Remove or modify User Content
- Suspend or ban user accounts
- Restrict access to features
- Revoke invite codes
8. Intellectual Property
The MARZCO name, Cosmos platform, site design, code, and all original content created by the site operator are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without explicit permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MARZCO and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from User Content posted by others.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MARZCO and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting an administrator. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
Account Information
- Username and display name — provided during registration
- Password — stored as a salted bcrypt hash (we cannot see your password)
- Email address — optional, used for password reset and MFA recovery
- MFA secret — encrypted, used for two-factor authentication
Usage Data
- IP addresses — logged for security purposes (login attempts, rate limiting)
- Session data — stored server-side to maintain your login state
- Access logs — login events, security events (stored for security monitoring)
User Content
- Uploaded media — images, videos, GIFs you upload to the Cosmos feed
- Post data — titles, descriptions, comments, votes
- Soundboard uploads — custom audio files uploaded to Air Lock
Voice Communication
- Air Lock audio is peer-to-peer — voice data travels directly between users via WebRTC and is not recorded or stored on our servers
- Channel membership (who is in which channel) is tracked in memory only and not persisted
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the Service — display your content, manage your account, authenticate your identity
- Security — detect and prevent unauthorized access, abuse, and fraud
- Communication — send password reset emails (if email provided and SMTP configured)
- Improvement — understand how the Service is used to improve it
We do not: Sell your data to third parties. Display advertising. Track you across other websites. Use your data for profiling or targeted advertising. Share your data with data brokers.
3. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on a private server operated by the site administrator
- Connections are encrypted via TLS 1.2/1.3 (HTTPS)
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (10 rounds)
- Sessions use cryptographic secrets and HTTP-only secure cookies
- SSH access uses post-quantum key exchange (sntrup761x25519)
- The server is protected by fail2ban, SELinux, and security headers (CSP, HSTS, etc.)
4. Data Retention
- Account data — retained until you request deletion or your account is terminated
- Uploaded content — retained until you or an administrator deletes it
- Access logs — retained for security monitoring purposes
- Session data — expires after 7 days of inactivity
- Invite codes — retained for audit purposes
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — view your profile, posts, and account information
- Modify your data — update your display name, email, and preferences
- Delete your content — remove your posts and comments
- Request account deletion — contact an administrator to have your account and data removed
- Export your data — contact an administrator for a data export
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (connect.sid) to maintain your login state. This cookie is:
- HTTP-only (not accessible to JavaScript)
- Secure (only sent over HTTPS)
- SameSite: Lax (limited cross-site usage)
- Expires after 7 days
We also use localStorage to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode) and Air Lock channel state. This data never leaves your browser.
7. Third-Party Services
- Google Fonts — we load Orbitron and Rajdhani fonts from Google's servers, which may log your IP address per Google's privacy policy
- Google STUN servers — used for WebRTC voice chat NAT traversal, which may log IP addresses per Google's privacy policy
- ZeroSSL — provides our SSL certificate
We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, advertising networks, or social media widgets.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact an administrator.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Community Guidelines
The Cosmos Code of Conduct
MARZCO Cosmos is an invite-only community. Every member was brought here by someone who trusts them. Let's keep it a place worth being invited to.
1. Respect Everyone
- Treat every member with respect, regardless of background, identity, or opinion
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks
- No discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, or disability
- Disagreements are fine — keep them civil and constructive
2. Content Standards
Allowed
- Images, videos, GIFs, and memes (original or shared with attribution)
- Creative content, art, photography, screenshots
- Discussions, comments, jokes, and conversations
- Space, science, tech, gaming, and general interest content
Not Allowed
- Illegal content of any kind
- NSFW/explicit content without appropriate warnings (if enabled by admin)
- Content exploiting minors in any way — zero tolerance, permanent ban, reported to authorities
- Malware, phishing links, or harmful files
- Doxxing — sharing someone's personal information without consent
- Spam or repetitive low-quality posts
- Content you don't have rights to — respect copyright
- Impersonation of other users or public figures
3. Voice Chat (Air Lock) Conduct
- Don't mic-spam, play loud noises, or use the soundboard to disrupt conversations
- Don't record voice chats without everyone's consent
- Be mindful that others can hear you — keep it respectful
- Use push-to-talk or mute when not speaking in busy channels
4. Invite Responsibility
When you invite someone, you vouch for them. If someone you invited repeatedly violates guidelines, your invite privileges may be reviewed. Choose wisely.
- Don't post invite codes publicly (social media, forums, etc.) without admin approval
- Don't sell or trade invite codes
- Inform your invitees about these Community Guidelines
5. Reporting
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Contact an administrator directly through the platform
- Do not engage with trolls or escalate conflicts — let admins handle it
- Reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Warning — for first-time or minor violations
- Content removal — offending posts/comments deleted
- Temporary suspension — account locked for a set period
- Permanent ban — for severe or repeated violations
- Law enforcement referral — for illegal content or credible threats
Admins have final say on enforcement decisions. We aim to be fair and transparent.
7. Be Awesome
This community exists because people want a good place to hang out, share cool stuff, and connect. Contribute positively. Upload something interesting. Leave a thoughtful comment. Make someone laugh. That's what the Cosmos is all about.
